HOST'S BIOGRAPHY: The Host of “Rivers of Living Water,” Howard Eugene Wright, was born in the early morning on January 28, 1938 in a country home in Brazil, Indiana USA. His birth was complicated, but all worked out. He is the oldest son of a family of 6 (Mother, Rosella Mildred, Father, James Brenton, a Brother, Lester Oral; two Sisters, Carolyn Sue and Rebecca Lynn). His father and mother were loving, caring parents. Even though his mother was much younger than his father, his family life was a happy one. His mother was an outgoing person who enjoyed helping others. His father was a hardworking clay factory worker. His father was always there for his family. He also has family members from his father's first wife who died at a young age of 35. They are: Grace, Ethel, Arley, Lola, Lorene and Chris who all died in the Lord. His parents were well liked in the community. They would play games with their children and all the neighbor's children. His mother was considered the neighborhood “nurse.” His family was not rich in material things, but he had a rich heritage which to him is worth more than silver and gold.

   He started his education in a little one-room schoolhouse. He walked a little over one mile every school day regardless of weather conditions. When in the third grade his little school closed, and he went to the big elementary school in Brazil, Indiana USA. He still walked a little over a mile to school. His other education includes home study, two Christian Colleges: Trevecca Nazarene University and Northwest Nazarene University. He graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BA in Small-Group Speech-Communication where he minored in Earth Sciences and Biological Sciences. He has an MA in Christian Clinical Counseling from Cornerstone University.

   He started his walk with the True and Living God in a church meeting on January 1, 1956 as he confessed his sins and gave his life to the True and Living God. At first, his family did not understand the change that took place in his life, but as time went on, they accepted it. Most of his family today are Christians. On January 1, 1957, God called him into the Christian Ministry. He pastored from 1966 to 2001 in churches in Iowa, North Dakota, Minnesota, Arizona, Wisconsin, Indiana and Kansas. From 2004 to 2009, he was a special speaker for “Convention Antioch” in Uganda, East Africa which he helped start in 2004. He and his wife are supporting a radio broadcast in Uganda and have given them a video projector so they can show the “Jesus Film” to their people in their own language. He hopes to go back to Uganda in May of 2014, as the Lord provides.

   He was married to Arlene Ruth Moore on November 21, 1967. She was ordained into the ministry the same time he was in 1971. They had no children. She was an excellent children's worker. She went to be with the Lord on November 28, 1995. His intention was to stay single and work hard for his Wonderful Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. God had other ideas. On December 3, 2001 he was married to Arlene Roller. He knew her from being her pastor 25 years earlier. Her husband went to be with the Lord in February of 1995. He is happily married to his second Arlene. His present wife has a son who has two daughters. and a daughter who has three sons and one daughter. He has people who have adopted him as their spiritual father.

   He has authored 9 books. They are: “Honest Truth 1, Honest Truth 2, Deceitful Masters, Deceitful Masters Workbook, Fourteen Facets of Jesus' True Church, The Church That Satan's Slaves Built, God's Operation Manual For Spiritual Warfare and God's Prescriptions For A Healthy Society." His newest book is "7 Steps to God's Glorious Freedom." His next book in his “God's Treasure Chest of Biblical Truth” series will be “Breaking the Chains of Demonic Deceptions.”

   He is in very good health. He and his wife are on a raw food diet. It is the Back to Genesis 1:29 diet. In his book, “God's Prescriptions For A Healthy Society” he goes into great detail as to how to live healthy in body, soul and spirit.

   At the age of 75, he is starting the “Rivers of Living Water” talk show. He is available for book signings, guest interviews, speaking at conferences and special events.

               “RIVERS OF LIVING WATER”


​​DESCRIPTION: The “Rivers of Living Water” title is taken from John 7:37-39 in reference to Isaiah 44:3-4. {In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, “If any man thirst, let him come to Me and drink. He that believes on Me, as the scripture has said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.” (But this spoke He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.) For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour My Spirit upon your seed, and My blessing upon your offspring: and they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.}


​The format of “Rivers of Living Water” will vary from week to week, but the goal is the same. Some formats used will be Bible studies, guest interviews, call-in programs to encourage one another, question and answer programs, songs that uplift, sermons, prayers, the need of family values in God ordained families, the meaning of good citizenship, and how-to tips on various subjects. The goal is to bring everyone into a loving, caring, personal relationship with the True and Living God and those around them.


​All human beings have a body, a soul and a spirit. We know our physical bodies need pure water to live. The water the soul and spirit need is spiritual. Do you know the soul needs “water” to live? Its water is hope, faith, love, joy, responsibility, social involvement, giving to others. The spirit needs “living water” to keep it healthy. This water of life is a gift from the True and Living God.


​For water to be life-giving it must be pure. This goes for the spiritual as well as the material. Much of the world does not have pure drinking water. For example, three-fourths of the water on our earth's surface is salt water in seas and oceans. Land water in streams, ponds and rivers has been polluted by everything from farmland runoffs to human waste being used for fertilizer. Most of the people of this world are without pure spiritual water. Their spiritual life is polluted with false gods, false teachings, filthy language, the works of the flesh, cares of this life, deceitfulness of sin, worldly-mindedness, love of money and a host of other lying practices given in the name of gospel truth.    


​​“Rivers of Living Water” talk show will bring to the world the pure water of life for all those who are thirsty for the more perfect life.


​“Rivers of Living Water” is fueled by the “love of God” that is “shed abroad in our hearts by His Holy Spirit.” We will lift up the Lord Jesus Christ for all to see. Its host will love people and use things to bring the love of God to everyone.


​“Rivers of Living Water” will offer “joy unspeakable and full of glory” to those who have found the pleasures of this world do not bring lasting happiness.


​“Rivers of Living Water” will bring the peace that Jesus gives to a world that is falling to pieces. It will help people pick up the pieces and find lasting peace in this war-torn world.


​“Rivers of Living Water” will teach long-suffering to a world that has sought fulfillment in every fad that comes along. The persecuted church will be encouraged to be “patient in tribulation” for their “redemption draws near.”


​“Rivers of Living Water” will model a gentleness attitude in spirit and truth; will teach that true goodness is from the True and Living God; will show what true faith is and what it is not; will teach that meekness is not weakness, but rather that it has great strength; and will show the value of temperance or self-control in all areas of our lives. This last fruit will be of great value in this greed-driven, materialistic world where might makes right.


​“Rivers of Living Water” will not focus its attention on the poisoned waters. It will carry the pure living water to all peoples everywhere in a clean vessel. It will show forth the truth so everyone can be free from all the lies that are “killing” most of the human race's whole body, soul and spirit.


​“Rivers of Living Water” will offer its Host's books, which are full of valuable information for further study.
